These magazines are designed with a unique Double Stack to Single Feed (DSSF) transition design for reduced overall height compared to the industry standard. DETAILS: MDT AICS-pattern metal magazines are manufactured from high strength steel, nitrided, and finished inside and outside with Cerakote Elite for ultimate durability, corrosion resistance, and friction reduction. SPECIFICATIONS: 10-Round: 3.055 Outside Length, 3.90" Rear Height (same height as MDT 10-rd .308 metal magazines), 2.50 max cartridge overall length (COAL), Polymer feedlip inserts extend ~0.5" past the end of the metal feedlip backer, thus retaining the round longer, helping ensure the tip of the round has entered the chamber before the rear of the round is released.MDT 10-round magazines are approximately shorter in height than standard AICS 10-round magazines due to MDTs unique Double Stack to Single Feed (DSSF) transition design, allowing easier mag changes when shooting prone. 10-round magazine includes 2 internal ribs that help reduce friction between the cartridge and magazine body and provide a smooth transition from a double stack to single feed at the top of the magazine. Due to shipping regulations, all ammunition ordered through our website must be signed for upon delivery by an adult 21 years of age or older. If you wish to order ammunition via our website and choose the in store pick up option, you may pick up your order at either one of our locations. Federal ammunition laws apply on pick up. You must be 21 years of age to purchase handgun ammunition or at least 18 for rifle/shotgun ammunition. To choose this option, click on the in store pick up tab. Age will be verified upon pick up.
Magazines and miscellaneous items can be shipped directly to your home. Both the stores and the warehouse will choose the carrier that best suits prompt delivery.
All firearms must be sent to a Federally Licensed Firearms dealer. There are zero exceptions. It is your responsibility to secure a FFL dealer in your area that will receive your firearm. You must submit a valid copy of that FFL to us by email or fax.
Illinois residents must provide a copy of their FOID card prior to any ammunition/fireman purchase.
IMPORTANT: YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR KNOWING YOUR STATE LAWS. If you live in a heavily regulated state you may only purchase merchandise legally owned in your state. If we discover that you have purchased an illegal item based on your state regulations there will be penalties. We will charge a 15% fee for restocking, prepackaging and credit card fees based on the purchase price.
