Hornady Superformance Shotgun slugs feature the innovative, accurate and
deep penetrating MonoFlex projectile in this 12-gauge load. At the heart of
the Superformance Shotgun slug is the MonoFlex, a monolithic solid
projectile made from gilding metal (95% copper / 5% zinc) and topped with
the Hornady exclusive Flex Tip feature,that works as a catalyst for uniform
expansion, even at the low velocities of longer range impacts. The MonoFlex
won`t separate, and retains 95% of its original weight. Specifically
engineered to deliver accuracy, penetration and extremely high weight
retention, the MonoFlex is a non-traditional alternative metal option, a
fantastic choice for all hunters. Fueled by the use of specially blended
propellants, the Superformance Shotgun Slug is built to deliver maximum
velocity for flatter trajectories and enhanced terminal performance. The
slug`s internal sabot and gas seal construction is scientifically
engineered to trap gases that deliver uniform pressure and velocity while
working to force open the petals and uniformly push the slug toward its
target accurately. All of these features combine to create a slug capable

If you wish to order ammunition via our website and choose the in store pick up option, you may pick up your order at either one of our locations. Federal ammunition laws apply on pick up. Magazines and miscellaneous items can be shipped directly to your home. Both the stores and the warehouse will choose the carrier that best suits prompt delivery.
All firearms must be sent to a Federally Licensed Firearms dealer. There are zero exceptions. It is your responsibility to secure a FFL dealer in your area that will receive your firearm. You must submit a valid copy of that FFL to us by email or fax.
Illinois residents must provide a copy of their FOID card prior to any ammunition/fireman purchase.
IMPORTANT: YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR KNOWING YOUR STATE LAWS. If you live in a heavily regulated state you may only purchase merchandise legally owned in your state. If we discover that you have purchased an illegal item based on your state regulations there will be penalties.
