The laser activation switch is positioned at the front, allowing for instinctive use when gripping the revolver. Compatible with Smith & Wesson Models 10-19, 48, 53, 56, 64-69, 242, 296, 386, 396, 547, 581, 586, 617, 647, 648, 686, 696, and the Governor, but not the 686+ model.
