Shipping Exclusions
Gary's Gun Shop complies with all state, local, and federal laws regarding firearm and ammunition sales. Hazardous materials, such as powder and primers, are not eligible for shipping. Please contact us for details on exclusions related to safes and certain types of ammunition. Many states have restrictions on what can be shipped into them. Please see the state list below for common exclusions. Ammunition. Magazines, and Optics will ship ADULT signature Required. There are no exceptions.
When Do We Ship?
Orders placed with Standard Shipping are estimated to ship within 1-3 business days from the time the order is placed. Shipping times vary based on the product type and the availability of items for shipment. Orders containing multiple items may take longer to assemble and could be shipped in multiple packages, and from multiple locations.
All firearms must be shipped to a Federally Licensed Firearms Dealer (FFL). Shipping times for firearms depend on whether we have the receiving dealer’s FFL on file or if we need to obtain it. Shipments are processed Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT. Orders placed after 3 p.m. CT for Standard or Express Shipping may not be processed until the next business day.
Where Can We Ship To?
We can ship anywhere in the continental United States when it is compliant with state, federal, and local laws. For shipments to Alaska and Hawaii, additional charges may apply—please call before placing your order. We do not currently offer shipping outside of the United States. Some restrictions may apply.
Important: You are responsible for knowing your state laws. If you live in a heavily regulated state, you may only purchase merchandise that is legal in your state. If we discover that you have purchased an item that is illegal in your state, penalties will apply. A 15% fee will be charged for restocking, prepackaging, and credit card fees based on the purchase price. When in doubt, please email or call us.
Ammunition Shipping
If you have questions about your order or need tracking information, please email us at info@garysgunshop.com and we will reply as soon as possible. We cannot ship to PO boxes.
We Do Not ship Ammunition to Alaska, Hawaii, Colorado or Puerto Rico.

Ammunition and Firearms Disclaimer
Firearm possession is transferred in person at an FFL dealer only and not to an individual's home, which is against federal law. All applicable state and federal requirements must be successfully completed, including passing a background check and meeting minimum age restrictions. Age must be verified with a current valid state ID. You are responsible for knowing your federal, state, and local laws regarding firearm and ammunition purchase and possession.
You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase long guns on our website. And You must be 21 years of age to purchase handguns or ammunition on this website.
Ammunition and Magazine Shipping Guidelines
Gary's Gun Shop cannot ship to a PO Box or a PMB; a physical address is mandatory. Ammunition is shipped via UPS Ground, and an adult signature is required. Accessories will be shipped via UPS Ground. Customers will be provided with a tracking number and shipping status.

- Alaska: No ammunition shipments. Magazines can be shipped. No Aerosol's or Solvents.
- California: No magazine's over 10 rounds. Firearms and ammunition can be shipped to a FFL dealer. No AR / MSR parts. No Aerosol's or Solvents.
- Colorado: Currently No sales due to recent Excise tax laws. No Aerosol's or Solvents.
- Connecticut: No ammunition or magazine shipments. Firearms can be shipped to a FFL dealer. No Knives. No AR / MSR parts.
- Hawaii: No ammunition shipments. No Magazines over 10 Rounds. No Knives. No AR / MSR parts. No Aerosol's or Solvents.
- Delaware: No Magazine's over 17 Rnds. No Firearms with a magazine capacity above 17 Rnds. No AR / MSR parts. No Knives
- Illinois: No pistol magazine's over 15 rounds or 10 rounds for rifles, or 5 rounds for shotguns. No AR / MSR rifles. No rifles with a threaded muzzle. Must have a valid FOID card to order ammo and the address must match the shipping address. No AR / MSR parts. No Knives
- Maryland: No magazine's over 10 Rnds. No AR / MSR rifles. No Ammunition. No Firearms with a capacity over 10 Rnds. No Knives. No AR / MSR parts.
- Massachusetts: No ammunition or magazine shipments. No Firearms with High Capacity Mags. No Knives. No AR / MSR parts.

- New York: Ammunition must be shipped to an FFL. No high-capacity magazines or Firearms. No Knives. No AR / MSR parts. No Sales to New York City, Buffalo, or Rochester.
- Puerto Rico: No Aerosol's or Solvents. No ammunition. No Knives.
- Rhode Island: Ammunition OK with Supporting Documents. No Magazine's over 10 Rnds. No Firearms with Magazines over 10 Rnds. No AR / MSR parts.
- Vermont: No Handgun mags over 15 Rnds. No rifle mags over 10 Rnds. No Firearms with High Capacity Mags. No Knives.
- Washington, D.C.: No Sales.
- Washington State: No Magazine's over 10 Rnds. No Firearms with High Capacity Mags. No Knives. No AR / MSR parts.
Please Double Check Your State and Local Laws
Any order that conflicts with your state, local, or federal law will be terminated immediately and refunded minus a 15% fee. Credit card companies impose a fee when an order is placed online. We will not absorb this fee if you choose not to be informed of your state and local laws.
