This design guarantees a secure, non-slip recoil surface that spans the entire base slot, making it capable of handling even the most intense recoil. Additionally, the Maxima square recoil key helps prevent swaging or peening of the bases when mounted on softer or less robust materials. The band of the Maxima Fixed Ring is also significantly wider, providing extra clamping surface around the scope to ensure the optic remains securely in position.
