It offers an ideal 18-degree grip angle for a natural aiming position, a flat-faced trigger, and an oversized, reversible magazine release. The firearm includes a fiber optic front sight paired with a blacked-out rear sight, a textured polymer front strap, and a flared magwell for quick reloads. Additionally, it has an enhanced sear for a lighter and crisper trigger pull, a Picatinny-style rail, and a low barrel bore axis that enhances shooting comfort by minimizing muzzle rise and facilitating quicker aim recovery. The M&P's patented take-down lever and sear deactivation systems enable disassembly without the need to pull the trigger.
