Uberti Top Break Revolvers are true to the originals and come in three models, including the Russian Model featuring Cyrillic barrel markings.
Designed by Major George Schofield for cavalry use, the Top Break's one-handed operation allowed for quick cartridge ejection and reloading while mounted.
The Russian government notably adopted this sidearm, ordering 41,000 units with a unique grip, lanyard ring, and trigger spur.

It was the Russian government that truly embraced the new side arm. The Czar ordered 41,000 Top Breaks. Those had a modified grip design, lanyard ring, and a distinctive trigger spur.
